General information

The SLS Classic is the oldest Dutch Regularity Rally.
The first edition of the SLS Rally was in 1952 and since 1993 the SLS Classic is organised.

The 16th edition of the SLS Classic will start in the centre of Holland, close to Arnhem, at the National Sportcentre Papendal.
On Thursdayevening August 28th the Sporting Class will already start with a prologue.
Friday August 29th the route will cross the Dutch/German border to go to the airport Niederrhein (Weeze), where some spectacular special stages are waiting for you.
The overnight rest halt will be in Houffalize (Belgium) in hotel Ol Fosse d’Outh.
On Saturdaymorning there will be a beautiful route to the Capital of Luxemburg, where the participants will be served a dinner in the middle of the towncente on the unique Place Guillaume II. The re-start will be in Luxemburg for a section to the Colmar Berg racing circuit for another test. Further through Luxembourg and the Belgium Ardennes to Veldhoven (close to Eindhoven) in Holland. The overnight rest halt will be in the NH-hotel “Koningshof”.
On request of many participants the Saturday will be a hard and long day like a few years ago. It means that the last few hours on Saturday will be driven in the dark!

Sundaymorning there will be a challenging route from Veldhoven to Utrecht, including a special stage on the Eurocircuit (rallycross). In Utrecht one of our sponsors Atos Origin will offer a lunch to all the participants.
The last part of the SLS Classic (including a test on Horseracingtrack Duindigt) ends at the Boulevard in Scheveningen, where several thousands of people will welcome the participants of the SLS Classic 2008.
